Laurence Phelps entered into eternal rest at Marrero Health Care Center on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at the age of 60. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident Marrero, LA. Laurence was a graduate of Carver High School, and a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He retired from AAA Cooper Freight as a forklift driver after many years of service. Beloved husband of Stacey Phelps. Devoted father of Kiera Phelps and India Phelps. Loving grandfather of Khyrie Phelps. Son of the late Pete and Laura Phelps. Brother of Barbara Phelps, Shirley Morris, and the late Gloria Morris, Aldo Marie Phelps, Keith Phelps, and Pete Phelps. Laurence is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Friday, February 4, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
