Larry Summerall departed this life at his residence on Monday, September 20, 2021, at the age of 55. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Larry was a former employee with Avondale Shipyard as a welder helper. Devoted father of Lashay Summerall.  Beloved grandfather of D’Hyri Johnson. Stepfather of Dione (Dwight) Johnson, Sharell Simmons, and the late Delant'e “Dig” McCall, and Martin “Marty” Harry, III. Son of Ursula Joseph Lackings, and the late William Russell Summerall, Sr.  Stepson of the late Benjamin Lackings. Grandson of Adam Joseph, Sr., and Susie C. Joseph. Brother of Vanessa George, Denise (Brian) Sumuel, Darlene (Anthony) Williams and the late William Russell Summerall, Jr., and Adam Mickey Summerall, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friend. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Friday, October 8, 2021, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.
