LARRY LANDRY

Larry Landry entered peacefully into eternal rest on Friday, April 26, 2024, at the age of 73. He was a native of Harvey, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Larry was educated in the Jefferson Parish Public School System and Trade School excelling in Carpentry and Mechanics. He was a retired Head Engineer of Villa De Ames and Christopher Homes. Beloved husband of Priscilla Landry. Devoted father of Felecia (Floyd) Butler, Thalia Coleman, and TaKeshia (Jerry) Butler. Loving grandfather of Kendell, Brian, and DaJanique Coleman, Shemar, Ariel, and Arion Bishop, Kiersten Buckley, Kiante Preston, Nyledge Butler, and Rotavia. Son of the late David Landry, Jr. and Mary Rose Williams Landry. Brother of David Landry III, Allen (Sherry) Williams, Rose Williams (Warren) Harris, and the late Patricia Ann Landry and Leroy Landry. Larry is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Second Zion Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Second Zion Baptist Church, 6520 Second Zion Avenue, Marrero, LA on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 10:00a.m.
