Landry Joseph Deorzan entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at the age of 72. He was a native of New Roads, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Landry was a graduate of L. B. Landry High School. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps receiving a Good Conduct Medal Award, Honorary Award, and National Defense Service Medal Award just to name a few. “Bubba”, as he was affectionately known by family and friends was a former employee of Seafarer International as a Merchant Marine. Beloved son of the late Harry Deorzan, and Dorothy Ricard Deorzan. Grandson of the late Mitchell and Rose Dobard Ricard. Devoted brother of Zeinna Weber, Elroy Ricard, and the late Janice Jackson. Uncle of the late Vin “Cuddy” Jackson. Nephew of Rose Rita, Doris, Geraldine, and Shirley Ricard, and the late Benny, Mitchell, Dorian, and Marie Ricard. Brother in law of Jerry Weber, Sr., and Cheran Ricard, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and close friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Friday, May 24, 2024, at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time at the parlor.
