La’Dawn Nichelle Paul departed this life on Friday, September 13, 2024, at the age of 43. She was a native Marrero, LA and resident of Gretna, LA. La’Dawn was a graduate of L. W. Higgins High School. Beloved mother of Dawn’Yea Paul, Darn’Yel Paul, and Si’Yea Paul. Devoted daughter of Madeline Hunter, Cliff Dixon and the late Agnes Paul. Stepdaughter of the late Robert Stewart. Granddaughter of the late Clarence Paul, Sr. and Orelia Paul. Sister of Ronald Paul, Antoine Paul, Leonard Paul, Jermaine Paul, Cody Crosby, Henry Baker, Nikki Dixon, Keshon Paul, Eva Miller, Carmiko Dixon, and the late Dayshawn Paul. Niece of the late Clarence Paul, Jr., Albert Paul, Alex Paul, Carolyn Jackson, and Debra Ann Paul. Cousin of the late Elijah Winston, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Israel Baptist Church, Evening Star Missionary Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Israel Baptist Church 1612 Esther St. Harvey, LA on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Keith Paul Stewman officiating - Pastor Darrel McKinnies Host Pastor.
