Kyran Andrew Damien Christoph passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023, at the age of 17. He was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Kyran was a student at John Ehret High School, where he played snare drums in the Patriots Marching Band and the JPSO Band of Excellence. With a passion for music, Kyran aspired to attend Southern University Baton Rouge to become a member of the Human Jukebox. He will be remembered for drumming on everything in sight, cracking jokes, and his love for spending time with family and friends. Beloved son of Andrew Christoph and Karen Thompson. Loving brother of Kareem Thompson, Simani Houston and Si’yea Paul. Grandson of the late Mildred Thompson, James Burns, Shelia Rodney, and Martin Hatten. Great grandson of Ronald and Daisy Christoph, Ruth and Elisa Hatten. Nephew of Trenice Thompson (his godmother), Clarice Thompson, Domonique Christoph, Shantrell Rodney, Stantrell Rodney, Anthony Christoph, Donald (Debra) Thompson, and the late Damien Christoph and Terrilyn Christoph. Godson of Rodric West. Godbrother of David Tigler, Clarenisha Thompson, Rodreion West, Dazaney Lawson, Dereon Sherry, Alyssa Benjamin, and Janae Edgerson. Best friend of Marco Laurmie and Ke’lon Blazio. Kyran is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Mount Calvary International Worship Center; faculty, staff and students of John Ehret High School are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Mount Calvary International Worship Center, 1600 Westwood Drive Marrero, LA on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Apostle Terry Gullage, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
