KIZZY MARIE WRIGHT-SMITH

Kizzy Marie Wright Smith entered into eternal rest at Ochsner Foundation  Hospital on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at the age of 41. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA.  Kizzy was employed as an certified nurse assistant. Beloved wife of Jermaine Smith. Devoted mother of Ronald R. Wright, Dalron G. Wright, Danika D. Wright, and Jernika J. Smith. Daughter of Rufus Jenkins, Sr.  and the  late Janice Wright. Granddaughter of Dorothy Wright, and the late Joseph Wright, Rufus and Orelia Jenkins.  Sister of Rufus, Craig, and Ranaada Wright, Alton, Anita, and Aquitta Edwards, and Joseph R. Taylor. Daughter in law of the late Shirley Collins Smith. Sister in law of the late Frank James IV. Devoted of Irene Edwards Taylor,  also survived by 4 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Rock of Ages Baptist Church, Progressive Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral services at Rock of Ages Baptist Church 6533 Acre Rd.  Marrero, LA on Friday, January 17, 2020  at 11:00a.m. Pastor Gilbert Barnes Host Pastor/Pastor Sterling Mealancon officiating.
