Kimberly Marie Matthews entered peacefully into eternal rest at her residence on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at the age of 59. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Kimberly attend school in the Jefferson Parish Public School System. She was formerly employed in the Culinary Department at Paul Solis Elementary School. Loving mother of Anthony (Keyiana) Matthews, Sr. and Kenneth (LaKisha) Matthews, Sr. Beloved daughter of June A. Love and the late Henry Matthews, Sr. Stepdaughter of Yvonne Matthews and the late Norman Jefferson, Sr. Sister of Tyrone, Sr., Henry, Jr. (Joann), Triney, and Errol (Lisa) Matthews, Nathaniel (Mouna) and Norman (Anoinette) Jefferson, Jr., Norma Pam Richardson, Treniece Jefferson, and Jenise Matthews. Devoted aunt of Shynetha Matthews. Kimberly is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of the Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church #3 and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Little Zion Baptist Church #3, 441 Wilson Rd. Marrero, LA on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Norman Smith III, officiating.
