KHYRON SEMAJ NELLON

Khyron Semaj Nellon departed this life at University Medical Center on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at the age of 15. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Terrytown, LA. Khyron was a student at John Ehret High School, where he played basketball. He also played basketball with Runway Jets and Zoo Living. Loving son of Shivers Nellon and Nekisha McGlothen-Nellon. Beloved grandson of Ronnie McGlothen, Gerard Brown, Nedra Carter, and the late Louis Nellon. Brother of Shivers Nellon, Jr., Louis Nellon, Khorian Brown, Khiea McGlothen, Khayli McGlothen, Khayla Mcglothen, Shye Nellson, and Shynai Nellon. Nephew of the late Gerralyn Carter. Great nephew of the late James McGlothen. Cousin of the late Major Carter and Denise Lampkin. God brother of Trendale Jones, Quenton Lampkin, and Skylynn Nellon; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Greater Zionfield Family Worship Center, St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches; faculty, staff and students of John Ehret High School; members of Runway Jets and Zoo Living Basketball Teams, and Terrytown Playground are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, 1738 L.B.
