KENNETH BYRD

Kenneth Byrd departed this life on Sunday, April 17, 2022, at the age of 68. He was a native of Greenwood, MS and a resident of Harvey, LA. Kenneth was employed as a construction worker and plumber. Loving husband of the late Georgia Byrd. Beloved father of Lionel Curtis and Jalilh Francis. Devoted son of the late Willie Byrd and Easter Byrd-Elmore.  Brother of Josie Cooper, Doris (Jeffery) Byrd, Susana Byrd, Amos (Bernadette) Byrd, Isaiah (Angie) Byrd, Aaron Byrd, and the late Sylvester, Willie, Jr., Johnny, George, Raphael Byrd, and Catherine Crystain, also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Heavenly Star Missionary Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service from Heavenly Star Missionary Baptist Church 1020 Cohen St. Marrero, La. on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Aubry Wallace officiating.
