KENDRICK JOSEPH WEST

Kendrick West passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, surrounded by family and friends at the age of 49. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Kendrick attended L. B. Landry High School. Companion of Ayat. Beloved father of Miesha Bailey, Kendrick J. West, Chad West, and Amirah Tardy Makhi. Son of the late Harold Joseph West and Rosa Mae Jones West. Brother of Troy A. West, Donnell West, and Jamal Mosley. Uncle of Shonnell, Ebony, Courtney, Harold, Denzel, Christal, Johnny, Jonvonta, Isaac, Isaiah and the late Teriko West. Nephew of Betty Jean West (Elias Ned), Elaine, and Sheryln of CA. Great nephew of Thelma Williams. Brother in law of Betty West. Godson of Edna L. Washington. Former husband of Cheryl West, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe Street, Gretna, LA on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
