Kendell Reshon Washington entered peacefully into eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Main Campus on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at the age of 38. He was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Kendell was educated in the Jefferson Parish Public School System and was a graduate of the Young Marines. He was employed as a Fry Cook with Popeyes Restaurant. Loving father of Zacheriah Washington. Beloved son of Tammy Washington Anderson and the late Alfred Kirts. Stepson of the late Alex D. Anderson. Grandson of the late Lenton and Mary Jones, and George Washington. Great grandson of the late Earl Jackson, Sr., Mary Jackson, Lenton Jones, Sr. and Fanny Jones. Devoted brother of Nigel and Vondreka Washington. Nephew of the late Mary Williams, Gussie Lee Jackson, Rosa Lee Alexander, August and Paul Jackson, Willie Alexander, and Edward Williams. Also cherishing memories are his girlfriend Kena Russell, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Little Zion Baptist Church #3 and all neighboring churches; employees of Popeyes restaurants are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Little Zion Baptist Church #3, 441 Wilson Street, Marrero, LA on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Norman D.
