Joyce M. Weber entered eternal rest on Friday, August 30, 2024, at the age of 87. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Beloved wife of the late Herbert Weber. Devoted mother of Lionel Weber, Nicole Weber Nicholson, and Herbert Lavel Weber. Daughter of the late Ivory and Georgiana Williams Mitchell. Sister of Alexander Mitchell, and the late Ivory Mitchell. Mother-in-law of Karen Weber, Ann Weber, and Tyrone Nicholson. Sister in law of Regina Mitchell, also survived by 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of New Zion Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at New Zion Baptist Church, 1131 Garden Rd.
