Joseph Thompson eternal into eternal rest at his residence on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at 6:46 a.m. at the age of 51. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA. Joseph was a former employee of the Audubon Nature Institute. Devoted father of Joseph Overton. Loving son of the late Joseph Miller and Genevia Marshall. Brother of Margaret (the late Brian) Gasper, Brian (Joanne) Thompson, Stacy (Charles) Ruffin, and Johnell (Caretha) Thompson.  Devoted companion of Louella Jackson, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the parlor.
