JOSEPH PAUL, SR

Joseph Paul, Sr., age 95, entered peacefully into eternal rest at his residence on Friday, January 5, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.  He was a native of Westwego, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Joseph was a retired employee of the Jefferson Parish Sewerage Department. He was formerly employed at West Jefferson Medical Center and Johns Mandeville. Beloved husband of the late Louise M. Paul. Loving father of Lois “Joyce” Harris, Joseph Paul, Jr., Sharon Paul Walker, and Sheila Paul. Son of the late Joseph Paul and Susie Alfred Paul. Brother of Gloria Paul Robinson and the late Doretha Paul Jones, Elizabeth Christian Wells, Orelia Christian, Warren Christian, Clarence Paul, and Norman Rogers. Also cherishing his memories are 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1000 Walkertown Way, Marrero, LA on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Thomas J. Brown, Jr., officiating. Viewing will be held from 8:00a.m.-9:50a.m. ONLY at the church.
