JOSEPH HENSLEY, SR.

Joseph Hensley, Sr., entered eternal rest on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at the age of 81. He was a native of St. James Parish, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Joseph served his country in the United States Army, and he was a retired welder. Beloved father of Danette, Joseph, and Nichole Hensley. Son of the late Boston and Dorothy Hensley. Brother of Ellen Marie, Lois, Gerald Ann, and Leroy Hensley, and the late Robert Hensley, also survived by 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the above named parlor.
