JOSEPH GRANT

Joseph “Joe Box” Grant (Ledet) departed this life on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the age of 71. He was a native and resident of Gretna, LA. Joseph was educated in the Jefferson Parish School System, and he was employed as a laborer. Beloved son of the late Joseph Ledet and Julia Grant Ledet. Brother of Connie Martin, Brenda Jackson, Deborah Armstead, Mary Ledet, Nedra Williams, Larry Ledet, Sr., Vernon Ledet, and the late Gloria Campbell, Janis Bell Wilson, and Marvin Jackson. Uncle of the late Owen Keith Griffin. Brother in law of Angela Ledet, David Williams, Richard Armstead and the late Frank Martin, Lavon Jackson, and Albert Campbell, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe Street, Gretna, LA on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time.
