JONATHAN BLACK

Jonathan Black transitioned to his heavenly home at Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at the age of 39. He was a native and resident of Marrero, LA.  Jonathan was a graduate of John Ehret High School and was a employed with Wal Mart and a former employee of New Orleans Superdome and Arena as an usher. Beloved son of Linda Black.  Adopted son of Bobbie Black (Larry) Jones.    Brother of Kevin Black, and Alisha Black. Uncle of Jaden Jones, and Andre J.  Black. Nephew of Lisa Black, Crystal (Courtney) Faulkner, and Ann Black. Devoted cousin of Krissy Carter and Felicia Gilbert, also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives friends and co-workers. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of New Zion Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at New Zion Baptist Church, 1121 Garden Rd. Marrero, LA on Saturday, September 18, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named church.
