John Patrick Washington, Sr. departed this life at Northwestern Hospital in Houston, TX on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at the age of 47. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Houston, TX. Devoted father of Shanitra Edwards, John Washington, Jr., Javia Brown, Jonquanna Brown, Johnquan Brown, and Kylah Brewster. Beloved fiancé of Jasmine Brown.  Son of the late Charles Washington, Sr. and Lorie Marie Phillips-Washington. Grandson of the late Emmanuel and Delores Phillips. Loving brother of Schwanda Washington (Bobby) Roche, Terry Aaron, Patricia Walker, Linda (Wilbert) Jenkins, Debbie (Joseph) Frank, Terachelle Phillips, and the late Charles (Karen) Washington, Jr., Calvin Lee, Sr. and Carl Lee. Nephew of Ivy Morton and Grace Sumner. Brother-in-law of James (Tomeka) Brown; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins,  other relatives and friends.
