John Morgan Lee, Jr., “Brat,” departed this life on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at his residence at the age of 64. He was a native of Havelock, NC and a resident of Harvey, LA. John graduated from Havelock High School and went on to matriculate at Fayetteville State University. He served our country as a member of the United States Navy for four years. Brat, as he was affectionately known by family and friends was an excellent car salesman and he had a special love for music and playing lead guitar. Devoted husband of 29 years, to Pamela Lee of Harvey, LA. Loving father of Javon Lee (Pamela) of Clemmons, NC, Hondo Jarman of Havelock, NC, John Morgan Lee III of Lafayette, LA and Jordan Lee of Harvey, LA. Grandfather of Ethan Lee, Isabella Lee, Stephanai Jarman, Haniyah Jarman, and Amina  Jarman and the late Niyal St.Cyr Robinson. Son of the late John Morgan Lee, Sr., and Melvina Lee. Brother of Alvin (Myrtle) West, Sr., and Wilson (Renate) Lee both of Havelock, NC, Vonda Lee of Concord, NC., and the late Christopher Lee. Son in law of Thelma Leonard of New Orleans, LA. Brother in law of Tracey Leonard of Carencro, LA, Debra Leonard of Marrero, LA, Sandra Leonard of New Orleans, LA, Irene Martin of Conroe, TX, and Sue Bartholomew of Folsom, LA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until 10:00a.m. service time at the parlor.
