John Cleo Ezeb, Jr., age 77, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. He was a native and a resident of New Orleans, LA. John was formerly employed by Cocoa-Cola, HANO, also known as the notorious vendor, selling candy apples, pecan candy and local newspapers. Loving father of John, Leon and Thaddeus Ezeb, Dawn Marie Alexander, Landa Evans, Carisa Calvin, Wanda, Dwayne and Ronnie Smith. Son of the late Rev. John C. Ezeb, Sr. and Leona J. Ezeb. Grandson of the late Alexanda and Leontine Reaux. Brother of Benjamin (Ruby) Ezeb, Leona (James) Arbuthnot, Rosalie (John) Pate, and Leontine (Edward) Johnson. John is also survived by 3 aunts Mary Louise Willis, Amelia Thomas, and Emelda McDonald, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Fischer Community Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Homegoing Service at Fischer Community Church, 1737 L.B. Landry Ave. on Friday, December 17, 2021, at 10:00a.m. Bishop James Nelson Brown, officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
