JOETTA VINCENT CARTER

Joetta Vincent Carter entered eternal rest at Marrero Healthcare Center on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at the age of 71. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Joetta was a graduate of L. W. High School Class of 1971. She was a retired medical clerk with Charity Hospital after 20 years of service. Daughter of the late James and Sarah Vincent. Sister of James Vincent, Jr., Dr. Bobby (Margaret) Vincent, Rosemary (Claude) Scieneaux, Yvonne S. Vincent, and the late Jonathan Vincent, Mack A. Vincent, Sr., Shirley Vincent Williams, and Sarah Green. Aunt of the late Josiah Vincent. Niece of the late Arthur Allen, Mack Allen, Bertha White, and Mary Williams. Sister in law of Beatrice S. Vincent, and the late Johnnie Williams, and Jacquelyn Williams, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Macedonia Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Macedonia Baptist Church 1219 Cohen St. Marrero, LA. on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Albert Mickel officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA.
