JEFFERY CONERLY

Jeffery Conerly went home to be with the lord on Friday, January 22, 2021 at the age of 62.  He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Jeffery was a graduate from O. Perry Walker Senior High School. He was employed with Texaco for many years and later retired as an operations supervisor at Shamrock Entergy Solutions. Beloved husband of 27 years, to Linda Conerly. Father of Shaneaka (Chris) Harvey and Tyrell (Maria) Conerly. Stepfather of Chinyere Kelly and Mickey (Amber) Gillard. Son of Louise Magee Conerly and the late Eddie Lee Conerly Sr.  Stepson the late Myrtis Lee Conerly Singleton. Grandson of the late Luke Magee and Bessie Conerly. Brother of Essie Thomas, Debra Peters, Donies (Larry) Magee, Lee Eddie Conerly Sr., Frederick Conerly, Michele Leflore (Henry) Smith and Leonard (Jasmine) Leflore. Son in law of Eva (James) Watts, also survived by 7 grandchildren, 1 godchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Hermon Baptist Church and neighboring are invited to attend the Public Viewing at Mount Hermon Baptist Church, 3512 US Hwy 90 Avondale, LA on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 9:00a.m. until 10:00a.m. Private Family Service to follow at 10:00a.m. Pastor Darold A. Ingram, Jr. officiating.
