JANICE ANN WRIGHT

Janice Ann Wright entered into eternal rest at University Medical Center  on Friday, January 3,  2020 at the age of 60. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA.  Janice was employed as an housekeeper with SS Motel and South China. Devoted mother  of Rufus, Craig, and Ranaada Wright, and the late Kizzy Smith Wright.  Beloved daughter  of Dorothy Wright, and the late Joseph Wright. Sister Hilton Wright, Kiven (Kawana) Wright, Toney (Gina) Wright, Lenora (Ernest) Simeon, and the late Linda Smith,  Ricky, Eric, and Gregory Wright,  also survived by 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Rock of Ages Baptist Church, Progressive Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral services at Rock of Ages Baptist Church 6533 Acre Rd.  Marrero, LA on Friday, January 17, 2020  at 11:00a.m. Pastor Gilbert Barnes Host Pastor/ Pastor Sterling Mealancon officiating.
