Janice George Hollins entered peacefully into eternal rest at West Houston Medical Center on Friday, January 7, 2022, at the age of 70. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Houston, TX. Beloved wife of the late Earl Hollins, Sr. Devoted mother of Earl Hollins, Jr., Trinice Hollins (Reginald) Hunt, Royalle Lazard, Derrick, Randy, and Larry George, and the late Tiffany Hollins. Loving grandmother of Reginald and Sydni Hunt, William Hollins, Marion Irving, Randy George, Jr., and the late Ronae’ A. Lombard. Great grandmother of Xavier Hunt. Daughter of the late Dorothy George. Sister of Cynthia (Edward) Joseph, Jerome (Jackie), Ashton (Mutsey), and Gary George, George Evans, and he late Harry George, Sr. and Lionel George, Sr. Janice is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Providence Missionary Baptist Church are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at Providence Missionary Baptist Church, 2311 7th Street New Orleans, LA on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 11:30a.m. Pastor Lawrence St. Cyr, officiating Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
