JANE MILLS

Jane Howard Mills departed this life on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at the age of 90. She was a native of Jonesville, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Jane was a graduate of Catahoula High School Class of 1954. Jane spent most of her career as a drug rehab counselor, with DePaul Hospital, F. Edward Hebert, and Charity Hospital until her retirement. Beloved wife of the late George B. Mills. Daughter of the late Jim Howard and Elizah Sharp. Sister of Joe Sharp, Evelyn Daniels, Verma Skipper, Martha Sharp, and the late Archie Rhone, Sr., Inez Sharp, Velma Sharp, Sallie Sharp and Joann Sharp, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Little Zion Baptist Church #3 and all neighboring churches are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at little Zion Baptist Church #3, 441 Wilson St. Marrero, LA on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Norman D. Smith, III, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the named church.
