JAMES TROY JOHNSON

James Troy Johnson completed his earthly journey on Friday, May 10, 2024, at the age of 58. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. James was a graduate of West Jefferson High School, and he was employed with  ADM Growmark - Destrehan Elevator. Loving father of Jaharee Johnson. Grandfather of the late Kristoffe Raymond. Beloved son of the late Otis Johnson, Sr., and Omega Johnson. Brother of Rose Meads, Dannita Johnson, Claudette Mitchell, and the late Otis Johnson, Jr. Uncle of the late Herbert Mitchell. Brother-in-law of the late Rickey Meads, Sr. James is also survived by 2 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expwy. Marrero, LA on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor. Interment: Will be Private.
