JAMES EDWARD PIERCE

James Edward Pierce, Jr. entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the age of 62. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. James was a former employee with Frey Laundry Service as a cleaner assistant. Devoted father of Ja’Cola and Devacee Wickem, Javon, James, John, and Josh McMillon. Beloved son of Ruby Pierce and the late James Edward Pierce, Sr. Grandson of the late James and Ruth Pierce, and Gertrude Walker. Brother of Jerome and William Pierce, Gina Johnson, and the late Nina Pierce, also survived by 14 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers and members of Marine Mount Moriah Community Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Marine Mount Moriah Community Church 3034 Andover St. Jefferson, LA on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time.
