James Pepp entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at the age of 89. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. He was a retired warehouse worker and delivery driver. Devoted husband of the late Barbara Brown Pepp. Beloved father of Lionel Washington, Sr., and the late Abraham and James Washington. Son of the late Joseph and Mildred Pepp. Brother of Genova Pepp, and the late Joseph, Clarence, Wilbur, Charlie, and Theodore Pepp, Audrey Pepp Johnson, and Mildred Pepp. Father in law of Renee Washington and Linda Washington, also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Historic 2^nd Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St Gretna, LA on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
