Jae Samuel entered eternal rest on Mardi Gras Day Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the age of 48. He was a native of Carson City, California and a resident of Marrero, Louisiana. Jae was a patient advocate who believed unity and knowledge could help anyone affected by cancer. Beloved husband of 30 years to Wanda Iveliz, Father of Enne, and his dog Hector. Jae is survived by a host of cancer warriors, and a beautiful circle of relatives and friends. Relatives, friends, medical professionals and caregivers are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Calvary Baptist Church 2401 General DeGaulle Drive, New Orleans, Louisiana on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation is from 8:00 a.m. until service at the church.
