JACE WEBBER

Jace Webber, age 22 months, transitioned peacefully in his loving mother’s arms on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Children’s Hospital. He battled an Inoperable Tetralogy of Fallot and Leukemia. Jace was the answer to his parents’ Jonathan Sr. and Jena Webber prayers, as they awaited his arrival on Thursday, September 16, 2021. During his visit on earth, he enjoyed playing and listening to music with his brothers Jonathan Jr., Jordan, and Jaxen Webber. Jace was the adored grandson of Jeanette (Byron) Wilson, Alfred Taylor III, Varice James, Sr., and Desi Rae Webber. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Terry Webber, Sr., Elbert (Marie) Bennett, Edna Rose James, Alfred Taylor II, Adria Taylor, Gardner (Mercedes) Taylor and Ike (Lillie) Webber. Also cherishing his memories are a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Jace was loved by all who met him and will be greatly missed.  Relatives and friends of the family, employees of Children’s Hospital and Catholic Charities are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe Street Gretna, LA on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA.
