HILDA PATTERSON WILLIAMS

Hilda Ann Patterson Williams entered peacefully into eternal rest at JoEllen Smith Convalescent Center on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at the age of 64. She was a native of Magnolia, MS and a resident of Algiers, LA. Hilda was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and a former seamstress with Wembley Wemco Tie Company. Beloved wife of the late James Williams. Loving mother of Stephany (Ivan) Holmes, James Corey (Monique) Williams, Sr., and Byron L. Williams. Daughter of the late Jessie Patterson and Wilma Patterson. Granddaughter of the late Willie and Ada Green, George and Marshalla Patterson. Sister of George, Jimmie, Willie, and Donald Patterson, Jacqueline (Karl) Jenkins, and Tracy Patterson. Hilda is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Kingdom Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe Street Gretna, LA on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Bernard Dyer, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA.
