HERMAN EARL JOHNSON

Herman Earl Johnson entered eternal rest at his residence on Friday, January 26, 2024, at the age of 68. He was a native of Cruger, MS and resident of Gretna, LA. Herman was educated in the St. Charles Parish Public School System and served his country as a member of the United States Army. Loving father of Tavis (Trakisha) Johnson. Grandfather of Siera Cain and Kiera Johnson. Great-grandfather of Harmony, Jermon, Jr., and Rylan. Beloved son of the late JT Johnson and Juanita Johnson. Brother of Catherine (Arthur) Zeno, Maxine Johnson Clay, Eloise (Doyle) Wallace, and Otha (Norma) Johnson. Grandson of the late Jimmy and Calina Johnson, Walter Cleveland and Mary Morris. Nephew of the late Roberta Johnson, Nancy Williams, Alberta Hoskins, Jimmy Johnson, Henry Johnson, Booker T. Johnson and Cleotha Johnson. Former husband of Gail Charles Johnson. Herman is survived by 1 uncle, 5 aunts, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Good Hope Baptist Church of Norco, LA, Shiloh Baptist Church of Gretna, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend a Memorial Celebration at Shiloh Baptist Church of Gretna, 723 Magellan St., Gretna, LA on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Larry J.
