Halvan “Keeda Man “Daniels entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at the age of 65. He was a native and resident of Marrero, LA. Halvan was educated in the Jefferson Parish Public School System, and was a former employee of GDI Integrated Facility Services. Beloved son of the late Hosea Harvey and Shirley Mae Daniels. Stepson of Bernard Coleman, Sr. Grandson of the late Steve Daniels, Sr., and Josephine Christian Daniels. Loving brother of Desmarie Johnson Tigler, Ivene Daniels Thompson, Lolita Loeb-Cotton, and the late Algeron Johnson and Rochelle Johnson Lykes. Stepbrother of Bernard (Martha) Coleman, Jr., Anthony (Cheryl) Coleman, Ronald Coleman, and the late Debra Coleman-Rouselle. Devoted uncle of Kena Tigler (James) Catchings, Danyell Thompson, Dr. Meiko Thompson, Destiny Thompson, Renada Washington, ZaKeisha Antoine, Giselle Rousell, Ramon (Latoya) Thompson, Tavary E. Tigler, Damon Washington, Rodrigo Conner, and the late Algeron Washington. Great-uncle of the late William Adkins. Brother-in-law of Elliot L. Tigler and the late Jesse Thompson. Devoted cousin of Yosheda Washington-Lightfoot. Also cherishing his memories are his close friends Patricia Billison, Anthony White, and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at St Joseph Missionary Baptist Church 236 Robinson Ave. Marrero, LA on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Melvin C. Zeno, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: St. Joseph Baptist Church Cemetery-Marrero, LA.
