GRADY LEE WILSON, JR.

Grady Lee Wilson, Jr. entered eternal rest on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at the age of 76. He was a native of New Orleans, LA, and a resident of Simmesport, LA. Grady was a graduate of George Carver High School. He was a retired construction worker. Beloved husband of over 50 years to Dianne D. Wilson. Loving father of Wayne (Kelly) Wilson, Sr., Lisa A. (Eric) Clanton, Mark A. Richards, Nicole Wilson, Schrell D. Wilson (Kendrell) Bell, Venicia L. Wilson-Stewart, Derrick E. (Tiara)Wilson, Sr., Eric L. Wilson, Sr., Erica L. A. Wilson, Angela D. Wilson (Reginald Williams, Sr.), Joshua J. (Marsha)Wilson, Sr., and the late Fabian G. “Pee Wee” Wilson, Sr. (Chaka Khan Smith), and Chanleta H. Wilson. Grandfather of the late Diauvian Stewart. Son of the late Grady Lee Wilson, Sr. and Earline Wilson. Grandson of the late Harriet Jackson, Christopher S. Wilson, Sr., Steve, Sr. and Addie Brown. Brother of Alice R. Wilson Ricard (Ray, Sr.), Sharman Wilson (Glenn, Sr.) Gilyot, Frederick Wilson, Sr., and the late Mary Lee (Mickie) Wilson- Watson, and Charles E. (Candy) Wilson. Son in law of Eddie Wesley and Annie Wesley, also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
