GLENN RAY ROUSSELL, SR.

Glenn Ray Roussell entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at the age of 72. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. He was a graduate of West Jefferson High School.  Beloved husband of Debra Haughton Roussell. Loving father of Glenn Roussell, Jr., Milicent R. Roussell (Ivan Jasper) , and Glynn Roussell, III. Stepfather of the late Dion T. Gullage. Grandfather of Elijah Roussell, Demear Tibbs, Tilynn and Jani Wallace, and Gabrielle Roussell. Great grandfather of Xaiden and London. Son of the late Rev. Ernest Roussell, Sr., and Beulah Gasper. Brother of Owen, Hazel Ann, Hilton, Sr. and Joel Roussell, Sr., and the late Mable R. (William) Patterson, Vada Roussell, Ernest Roussell, Jr., Dewey Roussell, Rev. Harold Roussell, Sr., and Leona R. Williams. Father in law of Kim Roussell, and Jeffery Gullage. Son in law of Shirley Brown. Brother in law of Valerie, Annette, Pat, and Azalia Roussell, and the late Morris Williams, William Patterson, and Claudette Roussell, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, St. Mark Baptist Church, Evening Star Missionary Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church 922 Estalote St. Harvey, LA on Friday, November 18, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Louis B. Harrison officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named church.
