Geraldine Veal-Thomas, age 72, transition peacefully into eternal rest at Passages Hospice on Saturday, September 10, 2022. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Mobile, AL. Geraldine was formerly employed as a Healthcare Aide. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Mobile, AL, where she served with the Welcoming Committee. Beloved wife of the late Donald Thomas. Loving daughter of the late George and Ruth B. Veal. Devoted sister of Earl Williams Veal, Rose Claiborne, Ruth Veal, Earline Veal-Warren, Marie Veal (Jules) Adams, and the late Robert and Randy Veal. Aunt of the late Julian, Michael, Raven, and Tony Veal. Geraldine is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE STREET GRETNA, LA on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
