GERALDINE PORTER

Geraldine “Babygirl” Porter entered eternal rest on Friday, May 3, 2024, at the age of 74. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. “Scoob,” as she was affectionately known by family and friends, was a graduate of Lincoln High School. Daughter of the late Warren Davis and Gertrude Porter. Sister of Donald Porter, Melvin Richard, and the late Ronald Porter. Sister in law of Wendy Porter and Sandra W. Porter, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Second Salvation Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Richard Williams officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA.
