GERALD FOUCHA, SR.

Gerald (Jug) Foucha entered eternal rest on Thursday January 23, 2025, at the age of 85. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Gerald was employed for over 30 years as an RTA Operator. Loving husband of Cynthia Foucha. Devoted father of Gerald Foucha, Jr., Demetra Foucha (Clearance) Condall, Gary (Tonisha) Foucha, Shawonne Caffrey (Darrel) Washington, Lisa Caffrey (Tyrone) Sheppard, Robert Caffrey, and Dannette Reese (Cedric) Mackyeon. Son of the late Wilbert Foucha and Alma Cousin Foucha. Brother of the late James Bullock, Augustine Foucha Jones, Edward Cousin, Oscar Smith, Gary Cousin, and Hasaan Salaam. Brother in law of Gaynell (Michael) Farrell, Ronald (Tanglea) Spencer, and Donald Spencer. Gerald is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastor, officers, and members of Second Zion Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Second Zion Baptist Church 6520 Second Zion Ave. Marrero, LA on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Bishop James Nelson Brown officiating.
