GAYNELL BLAKE PATTERSON

Gaynell Blake Patterson entered into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Thursday, October 20, 2002, at the age of 66. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA.  Gaynell was a graduate of L. W. Higgins High School, and a retired employee with Jefferson Parish School System. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Patterson. Loving mother of David Blake, Sr., and Galen K. Blake. Daughter of the late Douglas and Gloria Blake. Granddaughter of the late Douglas and Helen Blake, David and Rosa Lambert. Sister of Frederick, Donna, Carmen, and Allison Blake, also survived by 10 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Evening Star Missionary Baptist Church, Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, Empowering, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Evening Star Missionary Baptist Church, 817 Grefer St. Harvey, LA on Friday, October 28, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Keith Paul Stewman officiating.
