Garland Faye Lewis, age 78, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday, December 13, 2020. She was a native of San Antonio, TX and resident of Westwego, LA. Garland was a 1960 graduate of L. B. Landry High School.  She was a former employee of Cedar-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, CA, Windsor Court Hotel and the W Hotel. Loving mother of Keith Lewis. Daughter of the late John and Annie Mae Wilson. Granddaughter of the late Oscar and Carrie Evans. Beloved sister of Myron L. Wilson and Joan W. Claiborne. Sister-in-law of the late Allen Claiborne, Jr.; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time.  Interment: Will be Private.
