GAIL MARIE POLYDOR

Gail Marie Polydor entered peacefully into eternal rest at her residence on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at the age of 66. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Gail attended John Ehret High School and was a retired employee of the Jefferson Parish School Board. She was an active member of Thy Kingdom Come Worship Center. Devoted mother of Kendra (Rotimi) Brewster and Curtis (Martel) Calvary. Loving grandmother of Nifemi Olowu, Hazel Calvary, Zoya Olowu, Zahra Olowu, and Zaire Olowu. Daughter of the late Ralph Favorite and Rena Smith. Beloved sister of Annie Smith, Lydia Smith, Carolyn Pavugeau, and Alvin Smith. Aunt of Keisa Smith, Aziza Pavugeau, Glenn Smith, Jelani Pavugeau, Rickey Smith, Omari Tillary, and the late Khalid Pavugeau. Gail is also survived by a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Thy Kingdom Come Worship Center and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Apostle Daniel Smith, officiating.
