GAIL MARIE GIBSON

Gail Gibson entered eternal rest at her residence on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at the age of 65. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Gail was educated in the Jefferson Parish School System and was employed as cook for many years. Beloved mother of Tanya (Kevin) Simmons. Devoted grandmother of Kennedy and Gavin Tally, and Kendrick Kennedy. Daughter of the late Melvin and Mayola Gibson. Sister of Brenda Hobbs, Betty Gibson, and the late Margaret Ann Phillips, and Glenda Jackson. Granddaughter of the late Leander and Olivia Phillips. Godmother of Taliyah Ruffin, Rayel Jackson, and the late Nicole Phillips, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relative and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of New Life Fellowship Ministries, Inc.  and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service New Life Fellowship Ministries, Inc. 512 Opelousas Ave. New Orleans, LA on Friday, August 13, 2021, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Stanley Moore, III, officiating.
