FRANK AUTRY HERRON, JR.

Frank Herron, Jr. entered into eternal rest at his residence on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at the age of 73. He was a native of Carpenter, MS and a resident of Westwego, LA. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School Class of 1969, where he played the trombone in the school band. Frank was employed as a Plant Machinist with Celotex and retired after over 40 years of service. Devoted and loving husband of Delores Pike Herron. Beloved father of Sorielle Herron, Fountainette (Shontrease), Alexis, Travis, Frank (Jessica), Keith, Kardele, Travis Herron, Brandon Lazard and the late Vashon Herron. Adopted father of Meosha, Mankeshia and Antoine. Son of the late Frank, Sr. and Thelma Herron. Grandson of the late Charlie B. and Leola Herron, Hizzie and Hattie Moreland. Brother of Faye Boudreaux. Godfather of Claude Boudreaux, III. Brother in law of the late Frank Bourdreax, also survived by 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a host of, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church #3, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Little Zion Baptist Church #3, 441 Wilson Rd. Marrero, LA on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 11:00a.m. Pastor Norman Smith, III, officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
