FLORINE FRAZIER DAVIS

Florine Frazier Davis departed this life at her daughter’s residence on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at the age of 83. She was a native of Utica, MS and a resident of Marrero, LA. Florine dedicated her life to serving her community as a childcare provider, beautician, cook, and phlebotomist. For over 40 years she was employed with various companies, most notably West Jefferson Hospital, where she made a lasting impact. Beloved mother of Dwight Davis, Juanita Davis, Justina Davis, and Tyrone Watson. Grandmother of Deneen, Marquita, De’Anna, Delisha, Kndia (Ambre), Keonna, Destiny, Dwight, and Joshua. Daughter of the late Joe Cannon and Marie Frazier. Sister of Mary Owens, Edna Thomas, Annie Green, Lannie Coston, Willie M. (Gary) Colar, Lucine (Essie) Frazier, Larry (Wanda) Frazier, Willie C. (Kathy) Frazier, and David E. (Idela) Frazier and the late Eugene and Jessie. Florine is also survived by her great grandchildren, Tijaah and a dozen others, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a viewing at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 4:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. John Missionary Baptist Church 5456 Morrison Rd, Utica, MS on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 12:00p.m. Pastor James Roby officiating.
