FERDINAND HENRY, JR.

Ferdinand Henry, Jr. entered eternal rest on Monday, December 16, 2024, at the age of 57. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Ferdinand was a graduate from West Jefferson High School and was employed as a truck driver. Beloved husband of Karen G. Henry. Stepfather of Darilyn Banks and Corey Banks. Son of Altonette Jones and the late Ferdinand Henry, Sr. Grandson of the late Andrew, Jr. and Bessie Henry, James and Hilda Williams. Brother of Janal Henry, Eletha Manshack, Aletha Byrant, and the late Ulysses A. Henry. Nephew of the late Roy Williams, Ida McCoy, Yvonne Mack, and Alvin Henry, Sr. Son in law of Maggie Gibson, and the late William Gibson. Brother in law of Terry Gibson, Gary Gibson, Andre Gibson, Rochelle Gibson, and the late Kerry Gibson, Sr., also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church, 922 Estalote Ave., Harvey, LA on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 11:00a.m. Pastor Louis Brooks Harrison, officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA.
