FELTON WILLIAMS

Felton Williams departed this life at his residence on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at the age of 70. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a lifelong resident of Marrero, LA. Felton was educated at Lincoln High School, and later attended Job Corp. He was a former employee of Avondale Shipyard and Matrana Produce Company. In later years he was employed with his nephews in their construction business. Husband of Elmera Williams. Loving father of Felton Williams, Jr., Felton Babino (Sharon), and the late Keith and Eric Babino. Son of the late Harry “Shots” Williams, Sr. and Edna Corner Williams.  Beloved brother of Robert Williams, Rita (Paul) Jones, and the late Harry Williams, Jr., Henry Williams, Edna Winesberry, Lucille Williams, Joyce Pierre, Gail Walker, and Darlene Zeno. Brother-in-law of the late Samuel Pierre, Edwina, and Ida Williams. Godson of the late Doris Hunter Miles. Felton is also survived by 9 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, 1 great granddaughter, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Marrero Seventh Day Adventist Church, Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at Marrero Seventh Day Adventist Church, 3104 Mary Dr. Marrero, LA on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Virgo Belizaire, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church.
