Ernest Williams, Jr.  entered peacefully into eternal rest at Sanctuary at Passages Hospice on Monday, September 14, 2020 at the age of 79. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Ernest was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and a retired porter of the Herbert Building.  Loving father of Ernest Williams III (Lori Wilson), Joyce Williams of Houston, TX and Vandolyn “Vandy” Williams. Great grandfather of the late Tamia Ayanna Williams. Son of the late Ernest “Snook” Williams and Dorothy “Doretha” Williams Osborn. Grandson of the late John Walter Williams and Mamie Williams. Brother of Walter (Linda) Williams, Sr. of Ontario, CA and Leroy Turner of Compton, CA. Nephew of the late Hellen Williams.  Ernest is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
