EMMA REED ANDERSON GAUTHIER

Emma Mae Reed Anderson Gauthier a shining star, entered into eternal rest at the first sign of daylight on Friday, April 15, 2022, at the of 93. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Emma was a graduate from L.B. Landry High School where she was a cheerleader. She was employed as a beautician by trade and worked several jobs across the city of New Orleans.  Beloved mother of Gail A. (Leon) Veal, Karen A. Lewis, and the late Edward and James Anderson. Grandmother of the late Melissa Wallace, Sheryl Veal, Jeon Veal, Robert Lee Veal, and Leon Veal, Jr. Daughter of the late of Susie Coleman Jefferson and Major Wilson. Sister of the late Solomon Jefferson. Niece of the late Jane McGee. Devoted godmother of Patsy J. Price and Brenda Watson. Preceded in death by 5 great-grandchildren, and she is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also priest and parishioners of All Saints Catholic Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at All Saints Catholic Church 1441 Teche St New Orleans, LA. on Saturday, April 23, 3022 at 10:00a.m. Father Fred Kaddu Celebrant.
