ELOISE MCGLOTHEN LAMPKIN

Eloise McGlothen Lampkin peacefully returned to the Lord on Friday, February 28, 2025, at the age of 95. She was a native of Bienville, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA. Eloise was a retired cook. She was a faith member and mother of Greater Zionfield Worship Center. In her pastime she loved fishing and, traveling to varies place such as France, Germany, London, and Washington State just to name a few. Beloved mother of Diane Lampkin, Ezhekiel Wings, Delores Wings, Ronnie An McGlothen (Gerard) Brown, Lee Wings, Laren McGlothen (Hopson P.) Williams, Jacqulyn Lampkin, Hillary Lampkin, and the late Melvin Earl Lampkin, Jimmy Mac Lampkin, Gary McGlothen, Darrion Wings, and James Edward McGlothen. Grandmother of the late Henry Smith, Debbie Lampkin Pineyro, Otis Lampkin, and Denise Lampkin. Great grandmother of the late Zena Moore, Gavonte’ Lampkin, James Cole, Chrystal Cole, Christopher Wings, Royal Lampkin, Taron Dupre, Decianca “Deedy” Wings, Jhara and Jhari Issac, and Khyron “K3” Nellon. Daughter of the late Willie Russell and Bessie Law Robins. Adoptive daughter of the late Tobe McGlothen and Magnolia Gibson McGlothen. Sister of the late Mattie Mae Holloway, Mary Nell Turner, Willie Mae, Louis L. Taylor, Virginia Nell Theus, and Mittie Ruth. Niece of the late Essie, Eva, and Ben. Eloise is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Greater Zionfield Worship Center, Rock of Ages Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Rock of Ages Baptist Church 6533 Acre Rd. Marrero, LA on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Terrence A. Ranson, Sr. Host Pastor; Pastor Samuel Travis, officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the above-named church.
